So, here’s the big question? Why is there end time prophecy? Well, it’s very simple. Prophecy is there for everyone to know, but not every one will hear. The Bible is clear about the condition of the last days. Let’s see what He says about this.
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 Timothy 3:1 New Living Translation
I don’t want to use the term “straight from the horse’s mouth” to be disrespectful to our founders of Christianity, but the term itself is so fitting.
Just take a good look around you, are we in difficult times or what? Everyone is so hell bent on being against racism, yet those same people have launched a worldwide campaign to hate the other race. And they’re being completely open about it. That’s hypocrisy on another level. Doesn’t that sound like “nation against nation? Matthew 24:7. The Greek actually refers to ethnicity when it refers to the word nation.”
I don’t think there’s a country left that’s actually had a legitimate free and fair election anymore, the theft and deception is so blatant in elections, yet nobody is taking a stand against it. The next thief comes into power (excuse me I meant president) and life goes on.
I’m sure you all saw the news of a 16 year old girl from Columbus, Ohio that got gunned down by cops…that’s the headlines of main stream media and not the whole truth. She had a huge dagger in her hand and was about to lunge it into another woman. She said (and it was caught on camera) I’m going to kill you bleep bleep bleep! The crowd went crazy and twisted the satanic behaviour of her father the devil and cried out “why did you kill her? She’s just a kid!” Isn’t that what the Jews cried out to Pilate? They too, defended a murderer and asked for his release and cried for Jesus to be crucified!
God’s word is coming to pass in our day where people are twisting something that’s right to make it evil. Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20 King James Version
We’ve gone through a worldwide pandemic that’s claimed the lives of tens of thousands. Whether it’s man made or not, it did its job of exterminating people. They’ve arrested Pastors, tried to keep churches closed, hiding behind the excuse of this pandemic. For months, people weren’t allowed to go to their place of worship and be free to serve God where they wanted. Sounds familiar, let me think now, didn’t Moses go to Pharoah and ask him to let the people go and worship God in the desert and sacrifice? What was Pharoah’s reply, do you remember? He ended up making it worse for them. Out the blue, the tech giants launched a censoring campaign against who? The left? No ways, it targeted the right, the conservatives and Christians. They worked together to shut down certain platforms, ministries lost followers, they struggled to do “live videos” because weirdly enough the notifications weren’t going out to the people. If that isn’t enough, Christians are executed publicly on social media platforms by far right islam radicals.
So, are we living in very difficult times? You don’t need me to answer that one, it’s all around us. Back to the opening question of this article, why is there prophecy? The answer to that is exceptionally simple. It’s because God absolutely loves you.
You might be scratching your head at this point. That’s nice to know and all, but what’s that got to do with all this chaotic mess we’re in? You may ask.
Again I say unto you, it’s because He absolutely loves you! He doesn’t want you in the dark, He loves you so much He wants you to know everything! Think about this for a moment, a chaotic time like this can be very stressful for people. Many are scared; many are angry over what’s going on, many feel it’s so unfair as you give proper thought to this, there are many emotions going on and none of them are comforting. God knows this and even though things look seriously bad right now, He wants you to know that it never caught Him by surprise. He’s not sitting on the throne, wringing His hands, worried about the chaos that’s going on in the earth right now. In fact, did He not warn us? Yes He did, in many places in the form of prophecy.
Prophecy is not to have control over men, it’s also not there to be doom and gloom. It’s there to encourage, build and bring comfort. That’s always the nature of our Dad! In other words, the prophecy is there to let you know there’s a plan in action, and the plan is going according to plan! Excuse that double term used. When you spend time in His Word and you see these prophecies coming to pass, you don’t clam up, you don’t get nervous at all. You actually become encouraged and comforted, knowing this; that if you follow this love story just a little further, there’s a prophecy of Jesus’ return where He’ll come down from Heaven to meet His people and snatch them out of here just in time before it all goes south!
And that’s why there’s prophecy!
